Ye of little Respect

Why is it that "Christ"mas is offensive to some people? Martin Luther King day isn't offensive and we are simply celebrating a religious man just like Jesus. Now don't get me wrong I am a christian and I completely believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but why would an Athesist care?
He doesn't think that he is the son of God and surely you would have to admit that Jesus as a philosipher had quite an impact and is worthy of a celebration.

Well the Liberal will tell you that it shouldn't be a part of any federal or local government display even though it is a federal holiday. They also complain to stores and tell them that there "Christ"mas displays are offensive and they won't shop there if "Christ"mas is in the display. Well, 85% of America claims to be Christian and I think that we should throw our buying power around. Target is one of many that refuses to have "Christ"mas as a part of their displays. I think that if they won't use the word "Christ"mas nobody should do any "Christ"mas shopping there, use them to set an example. Also call your local Target and tell them that you won't be shopping there. They also do things like sue school boards to get "Christ"mas break changed to winter break and other assenine things. This is a true story, a couple of years ago the ACLU was suing a school board to have the Christmas break changed to Winter Break, so I called them to express my displeasure. While talking to them I asked if they would be open on December 25 and the lady said no that they were closed for "Christ"mas. HEEEELLOOOOO!!!!

Here is the supposed "Separation of Church and State" that is in the Constitution:

Amendment I - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. ratified 12/15/1791. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This is the so called separation of church and state, look closely if you don't you might miss it.Thats it "congress shall make no law", hmmmmmmmmm. I would like to point out that when this Amendment was written Congress started each session with a prayer and was spending large amounts of American tax dollars to establish Christian missions in Indian territory.

I will let you determine the framers intent, I have found that most liberal don't really care about the truth anyways.

Christmas for Christians is a celebration of the birth of the son of God and our savior. When you take his name out of it (i.e. Xmas, winter break, holiday season ) you take credit away from him. I am not asking Athesists to believe that he is the son of God nor would I ever support a law that forced you to believe that, I am simply asking you to respect my beliefs. Surely not one liberal would support changing Martin Luther King day to Civil rights day.

Little known fact: The Republican Party was originally the Free Soil party, the party that passed the Civil Rights bill (Al Gores father fought against it), and has placed African Americans in some the the highest positions within this Administration.

Prediction:
Liberals keep Martin Luther King day and make Civil rights day a holiday to get yet another day off. They could celebrate it by hosing down thier Conservative friends. ( This may be a long shot )
