While I do believe that these "Detainees" should have a timely military tribunal, but affording them the rights of the Constitution is unthinkable.

When our soldiers are in foreign Countries they aren't even given the protections of the Constitution. U.S. soldier are bound by the "Status of Forces Agreement" (SOFA). This is a clear cut example of how the powers of the Constitution are not applicable outside of the U.S..

First let's disspell the myth that most of these people are innocent. If the military didn't feel that they were a threat to the U.S. why would they detain them. There are plenty of people out there that want to do the U.S. harm. GITMO is no doubt housing the worst of the worst. I don't rule out the thought that there may be a small percentage of them who are innocent but that would be the exception and not the rule.

Also, these detainee's were captured by soldiers on a battle field. There wasn't any crime scene investigation, they weren't read their miranda rights, and multiple other issues that would bascially be a get out of jail card if they are tried in a civilian court. Use some sense people. If they have a right to a fair defense then we the people have a right to a fair offense.

Friends of Angelo

So much for the Republican culture of Corruption. Chris Dodd (Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee) , Jim Johnson (Head of Barak Obama's VP search team), and others mostly democrats received loans at interest rates of 4.25% - 4.5%.

I am sure that Dodd being the Chairman of the senate banking committee had nothing to do with these low rate loans. I am sure that if I wanted to I could make a call and get that interest rate.

Brace yourselfs this is going to be the most corrupt congress as of yet. The Dem's feel empowered and this time it won't be just inappropriate sex with interns or lying under oath, they plan to feather their nests while in power. Dodd and others have worked out a deal to repay Countrywide for their hospitality. 300 million dollar bailout, this will allow Country Wide to offload its worst loans on to the taxpayers. Coincidence, I don't think so.

Stand up don't let this happen. I would like to say that this is a Democrat scam, but it probably isn't just the Dems. The first indicator of this is the reluctance to investigate this matter further by congress. This is the system that we have. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes at the very principles upon which our government was founded. - Abraham Lincoln

Immigration:
When people settle in a foreign country with little or no intention of abandoning their native culture, or, increasingly, no intention of abandoning their native language and native political allegiance, the correct word for the process isn't "reverse assimilation." And it isn't immigration. The correct word in the English language is "colonization." Here's my reasoning. McCain is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Anyone with ideas like his could not possibly be called a conservative. The only thing he has going for him is the (R) after his name.

All forecasts predict that we will not take the congress or the senate. If we have a Republican President he will take all the blame for everything a liberal congress does and then Hillary will beat in the next election. Vote for Obama and let the Dem's fall flat on their face. They'll have no excuses with dem's in charge of every aspect of the government. Sure it will be hard, high taxes, no moral compass, and the biggest government in the history of the U.S. but I feel that it is what we need to get our heads straight.

Those of you with children will understand this. You can only tell a child not to do something so many times before you just have to let him see the consequences of his actions.

So let's let them have it for four years, that should be ample time to see the err of their ways and then we can get back to good conservative principals.

Get ready to Rumble

I have had many problems in the past year or so keeping this blog up to date. My guess is that they can read the DNC talking points without the fear of anyone debating them. What are you guys going to do next kill Howard Dean to get another pep rally / funeral. By the way, if Howard Dean plans to run again, I would be happy to donate my time. Dean 08!!!!

Office Liberal (OL):

lol - I KNEW you were going to bring this up! Actually, I like Dean. At least he vents and then lets it go instead of starting a quagmire farm somewhere in the Middle East. Besides, he's as hawkish as half the Republicans in Congress. Seems like to me the conservatives could settle on him about as easily as the Dems could settle on McCain.

As for Correta's funeral yesterday, personally I don't know which was more crass: King George having the audacity to show his face, or the Dems going off on him and his policies. Really, our prez has trampled civil rights in the name of a greater police state, so to show up at the funeral of a civil rights icon was an amazing display of hypocrisy and political opportunity. I think Correta would've politely declined his attendance had she anticipated the reaction to her passing.

Why should this epitome of white privileged conservatism speak at the funeral of a black civil rights leader? My oh my, George just doesn't get it sometimes. Dubya is the very thing that Correta and her husband stood against! Unfortunately, the Dems also saw his participation as an opportunity to take some shots at his boneheaded policies, one they couldn't resist when self-control would've been the better judgement. But then King George has done anything but create positive bipartisanship in this country, so why should the Dems cut him any slack?

So the question is, who is more insensitive - the tacky Dems for turning a funeral into a political thump fest, or the rich white boy prez for using his position of power to speak at a gathering that otherwise didn't want or need him?

Hmmmm . . . On a side note though, the cultural niceties that surround funerals have changed over the last 20 years. More and more funerals are becoming platforms for personal and political agendas. I think you're going to see more of this, not less of it.

WB:

I don't expect the Dems to cut him any slack, he doesn't need it. The Dems should have respected Corretta and made the funeral a tribute to her life and not a bunch half cocked DNC mouth pieces taking pot shots at the President who was gracious enough to ignore their juvenile tactics.

As far as civil rights violations go, that is mainly something done by Dems. eg Wire tapping of MLK by JFK, hmmm Carter forget to mention it was his party that did that, Japanese Internment by FDR, The warrantless search of Aldrich Ames' home by Clinton.

So it seems to me that you conveniently forget civil rights violations when someone has a "D" after there name but make a judgement before all the facts are fully investigated if they have an "R" after your name.

The NSA spying with Bush is not yet concluded but you have judged him as guilty, remember "Innocent until proven guilty". If Bush was insensitive for showing up so was Clinton who is just as white and just as rich, except Clinton didn't have any blacks in high ranking positions in his administration unlike Bush.

OL:

hehe - ask any black congregation/delegation who'd they rather sit with, or who actually understands black culture, Clinton or Bush?

And yes, congrats to King George for elevating a black conservative mouthpiece of his own to a cabinet post. However, Dave Chappelle had it right when during his Race Draft skit, the white race drafted Condoleeza Rice. ;-) Of course there was Colin Powell, but he left with a "harrumph!" after getting back-stabbed one too many times by Big Dick Chaney and the CIA over "Iraqi Intelligence" (lol - what a euphemism!). Sorry, he doesn't count.

Otherwise, thanks for the history lesson. Sorry to see "No knock Nixon" didn't make the list of notable presidents who trashed civil rights in the name of whatever excuse was handy. But it was Bush speaking at the funeral yesterday, not Kennedy, not LBJ, nor even Nixon. You may see Bush's gesture as gracious, but only if you ignore black attitudes about him.

To say he is wildly unpopular among black voters is an understatement, bud. Again, to show up at a funeral for a person who stood against many of things George continues to pursue, well, that IS tacky! It hardly matters if he says nice things and tosses off a good speech when his cronies back at the White House continue to cut domestic health and education programs that would otherwise positively impact black communities.

Really, the man has only reinforced the racial divide since he's been in office. What else should he have expected? The whole Katrina thing is a perfect example of his pervasive ignorance. It doesn't matter whether you agree or not if FEMA's total incompetence was racially motivated. Bush doesn't understand what would cause black leaders to question FEMA like that, despite the fact that King Dubya stuffed FEMA with his political hacks. Naturally they would tie FEMA's performance to his opinion of them, Laura's indignation notwithstanding. And yes, she's clueless, too.

To put it as bluntly as possible, Bush represents the worst of our white male conservative culture. He sees the entire world through the eyes of White America, which ignores/belittles/or dismisses only 9/10ths of the remaining world population, not to mention minority communities here at home. He thinks everyone should adopt white (conservative) American values because they are the best - and that is an inherently racist attitude.

So here's a tip: If you're a powerful conservative white guy who ignores core black issues like civil rights except when you see a photo op - maybe you should resist the temptation and just stay away. But if you insist on coming to the funeral because nobody can tell the US president "no, please don't come," then take your beating like a real Texas Ranger, feel good about your effort to recognize this woman, and quit taking focus off the funeral and placing it on your bruised and fragile ego. Bah!

WB:

Most analysts will tell you that the increase in the Black vote that Bush gained in the 04 election was a key to his win. Also, More and More blacks are choosing to sit with him everyday. Black home ownership is up Black unemployment is down, things are good. I figured playing the race card on you would confuse you, but until you guys get rid of all your Klan members and stop having white men fill all the top level administration positions no one will take you seriously on the race issue. Anyway, Clinton's Economic Espionage Act of 1996, this allowed Clinton to spy on ,within the U.S. without a warrant, communications between American Citizens and foreign companies to help line his buddies pockets by being able to undercut the a foreign company while biding for contracts. Talk about embarrassing us to the rest of the world, this is worse than a no bid contract!!!! Another thought about racism, Liberals objected to Janis Rogers Brown (African American), Alberto Gonzales (Mexican American), Samuel Alito (Catholic), But Harriet Meyers (White) you had no problem with, just something to think about. here's the link to the article about the economic espionage

Nixon's actions were wrong and he deserved to be impeached that was domestic spying on your political opponents. JFK I believe did this with good intentions and I don't believe that he should have been impeached, I doubt that any Liberal will give Bush the same consideration. FDR should have been impeached for putting all the Japanese/American citizens in internment camps. I would not agree with the Internment of any American Citizen at all.

As for who a Black would rather sit with I don't care but I do know that if you look at history a Democrat and not a Republican is more likely to violate your civil rights. Secondly, Republicans are the Party of Lincoln, the party that passed the civil rights act, despite filibusters by Al Gores father and Robert "KKK" Bryd. So you can play the race card all you like but if you look at the facts it just doesn't jive.

This is why Liberals control not one part of our government, you call Bush a racist but have a known KKK member in your party. That's the biggest problem now for liberals, they can't change history or delete all their sound bytes, although Kerry did a really good job of buying up all the copies of "A Winter Soldier".

Why is it when black person succeeds liberals claim that they are a mouth piece or an Oreo, basically stating that it wasn't there abilities that got them there. It seems to be a racist attitude. So do you claim that Codi Rice and Collin Powell weren't qualified and were just given their jobs because they are black?

OL:

" I doubt that any Liberal will give Bush the same consideration. "

Now now, even if Georgie Boy has violated the law (which sounds more plausible than not), I'm not in the mood to roll out the impeachment wagon anytime soon - as long as he submits the wire tap request to the review of the courts as intended by the Constitution and Congressional law. Impeachment should only be used when the president intentionally broke the law for personal gain, like Nixon checking out the opposition for an election. This is not the time for Dems to pursue revenge and cumuppance through the tool of impeachment. A reprimand and promise to stop unauthorized domestic spying would be enough (in my book).

You're right about FDR. The whole Japanese internment things is nothing but a huge racist mark on our country that warrants about a paragraph in most high school text books. Guess it's not the rah rah Go Team USA we want our kids to accept? But don't think it was just FDR the Democrats that went along - the entire country did at that time. Republicans and Democrats. Everyone was on the wrong side of that equation.

Actually I think Colin was terrific at his job, but the administration totally hosed him in building its fictional case for an Iraqi invasion. Rumsfield and all the neocon warmongers at the Pentagon totally undercut his effectiveness, which left Powell no choice but to leave. I'd vote for him in a second if he actually ran for president.

As far as Condoleeza goes, I think she's smarter than her boss (hell, I'm smarter than her boss), and certainly has paid her dues to assume the position she has. So yeah, I think she's adequately qualified. I don't think she's seen by other countries as anything but George's mouthpiece, whereas Powell actually enjoyed the respect of his peers. But Oreo? Chappelle wasn't calling her Oreo, just flat out white in her outlook and attitude because she enjoys more popularity among whites than blacks. Her conservative attitudes scare him, and they scare me, too. Anybody who can hang with Chaney and Rumsfield has one helluva stiff back to put up with those curmudgeons. That alone raises my eyebrow - the ol' "takes one to know one" angle.

"Why is it when any black person succeeds liberals claim that they are a mouth piece or an Oreo, basically stating that it wasn't there abilities that got them there?"

Uhm, what's funny is that Republicans point to their token minority representation like the doors to the Club House have been thrown wide open, which is hardly the case. Typical over generalization that the participation of one token black person equals the entire black community's acceptance and support. Dems don't question the abilities of people like Rice, Powell, and Clarence Thomas. They just don't trust their motives. Big difference.

Oh, of course you're correct about the Party of Lincoln stuff, but this ain't your great granddaddy's Republican party in anything but name. On second thought, given all the influence pedalling scandals that surrounded the Radical Republicans back then (Care to own up to President Grant?), maybe some things are still the same. :-)

WB:

You call them token minorities I just think that they were the best person for the job. I think that we would both agree on the impeachment issue, I think that what Clinton did with Aldrich Ames was for the good of all Americans. I don't necessarily know about the Economic Espionage Program, I don't know all the details involved. In the case of FDR, you are right that the majority of the country was in favor of that but it doesn't justify it. The majority of the country is in favor of banning partial birth abortion but it was deemed unconstitutional, the "Mob Rules" mentality shouldn't violate any persons rights. I happen to disagree with the courts decision on Partial Birth abortion, but that is a different topic.

As far as being smarter than the President, he does have a history degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard. If you would judge a person by the way they look and talk you would think that Steven Hawkins was the dumbest person in the world and it is quite the opposite.

OL:

lol - but I didn't have a choice to vote for Steven Hawkins or I would have. I've even read (one) of his book on Black Holes. Now that's scary stuff!

As far as Bush's education goes, well, he ain't puttin' it to much use, is he? A degree doesn't equate to practical intelligence. Or maybe it was all that pot and coke he did while in college that baked him a little too hard one night?

Regardless, I could still kick that punk in a game of Trivial Pursuit! Now that's a real IQ test. :-D

OL:

Oh my, Jesse Helms and Republicans have played the race card dating back to JFK's time (my memory doesn't go back any further). The are masters of turning "white fear" into white votes, and now the fear game has moved onto the international stage with Osama and the rest of the Arab world. Now it's the "terrorists" and "code yellow" alerts that scare white citizens into voting for guys with the imagination of Homer Simpson who are quick to bomb other countries and cultures in the name of self-preservation. Republican have fiddled with the race card for a long time. Really now . . . So Clinton did that eh(Economic Espionage)? Man I bet the Republicans are kicking themselves for not thinking of that first. But then Halliburton has direct access to the Pentagon and its budget. No need for spying and trickery. Just straight up corruption and yes, unabashed influence.Look, all those names you mentioned at the end of your response are more conservative than you. Sheez! Except Meyers, and the Dems let that one go because it was fun watching Republicans eat their own for once - and to come to grips with the goofball they put into office. Dems were quiet because they were biting their collective tongues to keep from laughing. One thing I will say about race and votes is that the Dems must stop taking black votes for granted or else they will lose them. But don't think they're going to vote for Republicans in that case, lol. They just won't vote, or will toss them to 3rd party candidates. The current Republican party will never make headway into the black community with their conservative white agenda. Republicans don't serve the interest of minority communities in this country, no matter how many conservatives of color they appoint. Tell you what - appoint Jesse Jackson as Ed secretary, or Louis Farakahn as the head of HUD, and then I'll be impressed.

WB:

Well we tried to get both Jesse Jackson and Louis Farakahn but they were both busy. Jesse had a full calendar of submitting DNA samples to track down his Illegitimate children and extorting Corporate America with threats of a black boycott on their products. Louis is still waiting on the mothership and trying to figure out how President Bush bombed the levies in New Orleans. So putting a con artist and a lunatic in charge of something would impress you, that explains how Howard Dean became the DNC Chairman. As far as the white fear and guys like me with the imagination of Homer Simpson, I am pretty sure that the 9/11 attacks weren't in my imagination. In reference to President Bush's education, are you saying that most people that receive degrees from Harvard and Yale aren't very bright, I think you might in a minority there. No response from the Liberal

Liberals Sink to a new low

What is it about dead bodies that inspires Liberals into a political speech, I thought that they were is favor of the "separation of church and State". Here's a wrap up of the Wellstone funeral

Wellstones Son: "WE WILL WIN WE WILL WIN oh yeah good bye Dad I love you WE WILL WIN"

How disgraceful to turn a funeral in honor of Corretta Scott King and turn it into to a DNC pep rally. This is about the only way that they can win a argument is to do it when the other side can't respond.

As far as I am concerned Liberal are disgraceful and the scum of the earth. Also Jimmy Carter ,that idiot, brought up how MLK was spied on with warrantless wire taps but he forget to mention that it was his party that did it. Selective Memory, an essential tool to being a liberal.

I haven't done it in a while but I think I am going to pick a fight with the office Liberal on this one, I will keep you posted.

PREDICTION:
The DNC will whack Howard Dean to shut him up and have another smashing funeral/pep rally for the DNC.

Muslims - Where do they stand

Well, the peaceful Muslims are all upset over this cartoon. Like a made mention of in my previous post. I heard Matt Lauer actually ask a good question when interviewing the Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson. Matt actually asked "If the Muslims protest so violently over this cartoon why don't they do the same when innocents are beheaded and slaughtered by the thousands in the name of Allah" he tried to spin it with some idiotic answer which no one believed. This Liberal numbskull had the audacity to blame the Muslim riots on America, and why, because of Iraq. Liberal now a some simpleminded:

Situation - Cause
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Muslims riots because of cartoon depicting Muhammid - Bush regime war on Iraq

Hurricane Katrina - Bush caused this by pulling out of the Kyoto Agree and he doesn't like black people.

Iraq war - Saddam tried to kill his daddy

It just goes on and on. Everything is always Bush's fault to include the weather. Liberals are such a joke right now that most people consider them a comedy troop. Seriously if you want some good laughs try to carry on a serious political discussion with one. I have numerous exchanges here on my blog if you wish to read them:

Found another juicey liberal to fight with
Email shoot out 2 with the Office Liberal
Email shoot out with the Office Liberal

The whole point of this blog goes back to the question asked by Matt Lauer. If they get this upset over a cartoon, why not over Muslims killing in the name of Allah. There actions answered this question, killing Christians and non-Muslims okay with them. If they accidentally kill a Muslim they get upset but you can kill as many Christians or non-Muslims as you like. Just remember that, you should judge people by there actions and not there words, these actions are very telling.

Muhammid's debut in the Funny Papers

Well there you have it simply print one picture of Muhammid in a cartoon and the peaceful Muslims are going to kill anyone from Europe. These guys couldn't ever make it as Christians.

When you are a Christian you have to tolerate simple minded idiots putting the the crucifix in urine and calling it art. All the liberals where up in arms when they found out that a Koran was flushed at Gitmo, but a crucifix in some urine is art. By the way, that story was false, not that mattered any to the liberals. They believe that if you say something enough it becomes true. Also what kind of toilet would be able to flush a book down it, I have to get the plunger if I use to much toilet paper. I would be interested in buying one of those toilets, I don't even care what it costs, I'll take one!!!!

As a Christian you have to tolerate the prophet Jesus being depicted as someone who would excuse sins such as pre - martial sex by saying "Kids will be Kids". You would also have to be very carefull to never mention Muhammid in case you offend somebody even on his birthday.

You will also have to get used to having your religious freedoms violated so that you do violate other peoples religious freedom, who are not religious. You will have to get used to any reference to Muhammid being removed from the public so as not to create a Theocracy.

So, I guess in closing, Lighten up all you Muslims, you are just now getting a taste of what all the other religions have been dealing with for a long time. I know it is your first instinct to cut everyones head off in the name of Alla but you can't anymore.

The one thing that you are doing right is the ban on those countries. Nothing is more powerfull than the buying power that you hold. On the down side most Palestinians are dirt poor and your ban doesn't really scare anyone. You could also threaten to not vacation in those countries but that goes back to my first point that most of you are poor and secondly nobody wants you in thier country, you blow yourselfs up way to much in public. So good Luck with the Boycott, peace out.

Chocolate town sho do like vanilla bucks

It has been awhile since I have posted, that is mainly due to the fact that the NSA story is dominating the news. By the way, I like that Dubya is sticking to his guns and taking on his critics head on. That is exactly what he needed to do and the polls show it. I thought that he did very well in his speech today and was quite funny. That joke about him getting blamed for the reporter not having a chair was priceless. Also the joke he made about having a photograph with the reporter that asked him about releasing photographs of Him and Abramhoff. These are just absurd comments, this would be like saying that since Clinton had photographs taken with Yasser Arafat that Clinton condoned homicide bombers.

But anyways lets go off to a magical land called Chocolate town, Where "White" milk and "Black" chocolate combine to make a delicious Drink. Are liberals this stupid??? Oh wait, in some of my previous articles we have proven that they are. My real point here is that we have been dumping money into that place for some time now and all they do is complain. Here's a little wake up call for Chocolate town. YOUR CITY IS SURROUNDED BY WATER ON 3 SIDES AND YOUR ELEVATION IS BELOW SEA LEVEL!!!! HELLOOOO HELLOOOOO!!! Why does this have to be a Liberal verse Conservative issue? Couldn't this be a stupid verse not stupid issue, whoops this may be the same thing by a different name.

Everyone is complaining about parts of America not wanting to rebuild New Orleans and I would be in that crowd. They all complain about the Bush Administration cutting funding to the levy's. A couple of quick facts here, the levy's were only built to withstand a 3 level hurricane and even if fully funded the wouldn't be finished until 2015. So nice try in blaming this on Dubya but the informed won't buy this crap. Sadly though the informed is less than 3% of the Democratic party.

Oh well, my wife just called me with a Honeydew and I'm off. Faster than Mayor Nagin to a News camera to talk about Chocolate, Higher than a Carter Administration Interest rate , Stronger than Clinton's Libido, its Super Hubby.

In a pit of vipers

I recently went out to a liberal blog and tried to discuss just facts with some of the members and would like to relate my experience. If you read my last blog (Found another juicey liberal to fight with ) I simply asked a couple questions and provide some facts about how they came to their opinion. I was insulted and eventually had all my posts censored and then banned. When I say censored I mean that even though my posts contained no profanity or offensive content they weren't posted. My ideas or lack of the ability to accept whatever they say as fact was profane and they silenced me.

How appropriate on almost every post there was some sort of Nazi euphemism used on me . I was told to go shine my Jack Boots, accused of being a woman hater because of my pro-life beliefs and all I wanted was to discuss the facts. Well who are the Nazi's now?? It seems that they only care about free speech when you say what they want. It's a subtle form of tyranny, you can have your own ideas as long as I agree with them. If you argue or question us you will be censored, silenced and banned. I would like the readers here to be the judge, go to www.mediagirl.org an tell me what you think of those "debates". I found that very few of them every based anything on fact and they never did any real research to back up their positions. Also out of about 50 posts I think that I wasn't insulted once.

I honestly believe that you could debate facts like this on even the most right wing blog and not be insulted and banned. That will be my next venture into the blogsphere to give a fair and balanced opinion. I may try more Left wing and Right wing sites to make this a bit more statistically significant. Go out to the mediagirl website and tell me if this was an accurate post, who knows I could be bias.

Found another juicey liberal to fight with

As you all know, I like to debate politics. I found this blog, mediagirl.org, and picked a fight with her. I actually only asked her to substantiate one of her claims and thems there are fighting words for a liberal. She also uses the word "gubmint" instead of government to make fun of George Bush all the time, once or twice is funny but all the time, talk about beating a dead horse. She probably wouldn't tease Kerry about the Jingus Khan thing. That about sums it, that little tactic right there put here on a seventh grade/ air america intellectual level.

As if I needed to tell you this, I am "Red Stater"

The original post was titled "If you were wondering whether the right wing has embraced fascism"

Here are the posts:

Red Stater (not verified) says:
Huh?????
Sorry Mediagirl, but you not knowing who Marla Mapes or Ward Churchill are just lets me know that you are not very informed. You probably get all your news off of MTV. NEWS FLASH .... Kurt Loder is not a credible Jornalist. Not that that has ever mattered to a liberal. Also you weren't very clear about how putting this people on the most annoying liberal list supports the "Right wing" embrasing Fascism.
If I were a doctor I would diagnose you with classic Liberalism. The only cure for this is working for your own money, paying taxes, and gaining some maturity.
Until this happens you can fight the symptoms with zoloft and Fox news.
Go check out my blog for the truth at http://chc1.blogspot.com

(January 6, 2006 - 7:07am)

media girl says:
Sorry I didn't write the post at Teletubbies level for you
It just seems that right wingers have a real hard time with anyone who questions the gubmint. You guys love your gubmint! If you don't get the great irony of that, that's not my problem.
Your fear of liberalism is palpable, though. If you stopped looking at the world from under your armpit and talking out of your backside, maybe you'd find some relief from your chronic anxiety.
But leave it to a wingnut to tell liberals who the important liberals are. Wingnuts are always trying to tell other people what to do, what to think, what to be ... You people are really pretty tiresome. Self-loathing has really done a number on you.
(January 6, 2006 - 8:33am)

Red Stater (not verified) says:
Ho Hum
All that blather and you still didn't answer my question. Liberals who can't stray from the talking points mostly because they are very uninformed, like yourself mediagirl, tend to just insult the people questioning their statements. As for my supposed fear of liberalism, what's to fear, liberals are so far out of the mainstream that they have hardly any voice in our government. Republicans have the House, Senate, Presidency, and will soon have the Supreme Court.
I know that is hard to read a credible news story as opposed to talking Michael Moore's word for it, but you should stop drinking the Kool-aid Media and get some news from other sources and at least try to find the truth.
Also, I am still waiting for an explanation of how this list of annoying liberals supports your premise that the right wing is fascist?
For the truth and honest political debate go to http://chc1.blogspot.com/
(January 9, 2006 - 7:41am)

media girl says:
You just love the gubmint, doncha?
All government power is wonderful, as long as it's your Party in charge, right? What a fool you are. Go on to your "alternative news sources" like Rush and Bill so you can all feel superior while you chearlead the building of a fascist state brick by brick.
If you don't like the political debate here, then go elsewhere. Go to your own echo chamber, where you all can shine your jack boots and share stories of torture and sticking it to libruls, and tell each other it's your right because of your "moral values."
Me, I prefer a democracy.
(January 9, 2006 - 9:42am)

your name here (not verified) says:
Still won't / can't answer the question
Ok here's a little help for you:
Fascism- A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
Can't you even attempt to answer my question. I couple more times of you dodging this question and even your mindless Kool-aid drinking drones are going to lose faith in you.
Tell me , on your blog, how the "gubmint" has censored you, kind of ironic don't you think. Give me examples of belligerent Nationalism, even someone as inept as yourself should be able to come up with something there. Give me some examples of how there is racism with African Americans filling some of the highest positions in this administration.
I do like the political debate here and find it very easy to shine with the collection of nitwits you have on this blog. I think that it is exposing you for what you really are, a person who really doesn't know anything. When confronted with an opposing viewpoint or a fact you simply dodge the question and insult them. What grade are you in? I hear that the seventh grade can be a hard transition for some.
You also seem to use the nazi terminology du jour. Whats next's ? If you use goosestepping in a sentence I am going to puke. You don't know who Ward Churchill or Marla Mapes is but you expect us to believe that you know what a jackboot is.
Also, I have listed my echo chamber here and I, unlike yourself, can provide the facts that have lead me to believe what I have said. You won't do that, much less cite a fact or news story from a credible information source that would validate your opinions here.
Answer the damn question. What facts lead you to believe that posting a list of annoying liberals prove the rightwing is fascist????
Come here political debate that can be backed up with facts http://chc1.blogspot.com

media girl says:
Methinks thou dost protest too much
'Nuff said.
(January 9, 2006 - 11:43am)

Red Stater (not verified) says:
Typical Liberal
Couldn't even come up with one fact.
That is a shame now all your readers know what a fraud that you are.

click here to post to the blogger that "whooped" media girl, nuff said http://chc1.blogspot.com
(January 9, 2006 - 12:23pm)

media girl says:
Typical conservative
The pot calling the kettle black.
(January 9, 2006 - 3:29pm)

I'm waiting
That sound you guys here in the background is media girl running away with her tail between her legs.
Whats the matter Media Girl did you run out of catchy little Nazi euphuisms. You couldn't provide one fact to validate your claim, how pitiful is that. Here's a tip for your tip jar "When you make a stupid statement try to have a fact or two to back it up" you slack jawed dimwit.
Now if you'll excuse me I am off to shine my jack boots and press my brown shirt.
(January 9, 2006 - 3:41pm)

Shot across the bow

Well here you have, if there was any doubt in your mind about the war on Christianity this should clear it up. Its a classical American Bible belt tale. Dad gets hooked on Jesus and painkillers and marries an alcoholic and they have three lovely children. A gay son, a son that sleeps with everything that moves, and a drug dealer for a sister. Ahhh family programming at it's best.

A black, hispanic, muslim, or jewish family would never be allowed to be portrayed like this. Screams of racism, anti-semitism, or any other "ism" would fill the airways and the head of NBC would be asked to step down and be required by law to take sensitivity training with Trent Lott. These rules don't apply when you are defaming white Christians though, what the hell they have had it pretty good for the last 1000 years.

I grew up in a screwed up family but damn. Normally there are one or two family members that have it together enough to bail out/lend money/pay for rehab for the others. This must be a typical family in Los Angeles.

What's scary is that the portrail of the family isn't the worst part of the show. At one point the father is physically having a discussion with Jesus about his son's Promiscuity and Jesus says "A kid has to be a kid" . That is stepping over the line, this is offensive to anyone who is a Christian. They wouldn't dare portray Muhammad as a child molester even though he did have a wife that was nine years old. I can imagine the scene, a troubled Muslim Cleric confiding in Muhammad his concerns that his nine year old daugther is sexually active and Muhammad responds with "If there is grass on the field play ball!!".

Or maybe a quaint little story about a black family in Harlem. The father is out of work and between prison sentences and the Mother has 5 children from 3 different Dads. The three boys are in a gang and one daughter is a whore and the other a drug dealer and all of them are drug addicts.

You won't see any of this from hollywood, you get shows like the Cosby's. A person who goes to a funeral and blows himself up and kills 36 innocent people is considered a freedom fighter but when one crazy self proclaim Christian kills an Abortian Doctor, all Christians are Wackos.

We Christians have to stand up and not take this lying down. Call your NBC affiliate and tell them that you won't watch this show and you'll boycott any product that sponsers it. I as an American think that they have every right to produce this garbage and we equally have a right to spend our money on products and services that don't offend our religious beliefs.

Liberal Hypocrisy

You have to just love this guy. Let me start with some quotes from Robert C. Byrd:

"with a Negro by my side. Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds."

"There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of white niggers in my time. I'm going to use that word. We just need to work together to make our country a better country, and I'd just as soon quit talking about it so much."

He opposed the nomination of Clarence Thomas, Janice Rogers Brown , and Condoleezza Rice.

He strongly opposed affirmative action.

Who could this be but a racist, right wing, Christian Zealot from fly over country?? Well it is the longest serving Senator in the Senate and a Democrat from West Virginia. How could this be? Democrats are supposed to be Pro - African American.

It turns out that you aren't a racist until you oppose a DNC policy regarding race, unless of course you are black and have a mind of your own, then you are an Uncle Tom or an Oreo. Black on the outside and white on the inside, get it, very funny. Democrats have all the best racial slurs.

Now take Robert aka Sheets Byrd he can use the word "white nigger" on Fox news Sunday and not even raise an eyebrow. Trent Lott made a kind statement at the retirement party of another senator who was segregationists half a century ago and was deemed a racist.

(The white nigger term usually pops when someone white uses the n - word and offends someone, which they will immediately say "There are white niggers also" in a feeble attempt to disassociate race with the term. If you are Black the n - word is a term of endearment, ah the complexities of the English Language.)

Robert Byrd was in the KKK until he decided to run for office. He said he lost interest in the KKK, well isn't that convenient. He said his Klan membership was a brief mistake. A brief mistake in which he founded the KKK in Crab Orchard W. Va, recruited 150 new members, was unanimously elected as the Exalted Cyclops, used his position in the KKK to be elected as the Governor of W Va.. Also years later after he had "lost interest" he wrote a letter to the Grand Dragon of the SouthEast Divison of the Clan saying how the clan is needed in Va. and in the rest of the country. Wow what a blunder that was!

Another good example is Arianna Huffington, she complains about the fuel consumption of people driving SUV's but rides around the country in private jets. In her defense "Those planes were going somewhere anyways.". She complains about about tax cuts to the wealthy but she uses every legal loop hole in the book and paid less taxes than a head fry cook at McDonalds, but she talks the talk and is therefore "Okay".

As far as race goes I like to quote MLK " Let a man be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin". This is the one thing Sheets and I agree on is affirmative action.

Prediction:

Robert Byrd will get a 100% rating from the NAACP - whoops that has already happened.

West Virginia's Black population will remain at a staggering 3% due to a fear of a lynching in a non-election year.

I will be deemed a racist.

Random thoughts II

Looks like Al Franken spent some time in Iraq to show how much "He Supports" the troops. I think that this photo says it all, he couldn't even get the dog to stay and listen to his bullshit. Here's a tip Al you can't say that anyone who supports this war is stupid and in the same sentence say you support the people who are fighting and dying in the war. I was in the Army for 7 years and the soldiers today take their job seriously and are professionals. They knew what they were signing up for and most polls support that. Any soldier that enlisted or has reenlisted after Sep 11 2001 has been insulted by your comments. Most enlistments only last three years Al, that means anyone in the Army now has either enlisted or reenlisted because they are stupid according to you. Just because you are a coward Al doesn't mean that they are too.

I like to be fair and objective and I have listened to his show on many occasions and it just isn't funny. During his hurricane Katrina coverage he keep doing a skit about an elementary school teacher that was just brutal. The next day his sidekick was gone, probably going to a job interview for a job that has regular paychecks, and he did all the voices himself and it was awfull. He sounded liked an insane person having an emotional breakdown. If he were a horse I would have shot him.

The worst of the story is that I have a TIVO and I started recording the shows on the Sundance network. The only thing worse that listening to his show is having to watch it.

Another really odd thing about the television portion of the show is that there were no sponsers except the Sundance channel. Over and over they would play the same commerial about a documentary of a group of high schools students who have decided to come out of the closet. That's quality programming!!

Speaking of homosexuals. Gay cowboys, what the ..... !!! There is only one gay cowboy and he tours with the Village People. Just as an aside, The Village People are single handedly responsible for ruining a cool childhood game "Cowboys and Indians" . That group give " Playing Cowboys and Indians" a whole new meaning. They released this movie only in large Metropolitan areas at first to see how it will do. An article I read said that it did so well that they will speed up the delivery date and get it out to the rest to the country. Here's a little tip, don't bother, this garbage won't play in middle American. I have seen a lot of Chic flicks with my wife to include "Sense and Sensibilities" but there isn't any way in hell I would go see this movie. I would rather hold my wifes' purse while bra shopping for three hours straight than go see this movie.

Predictions:
Al Franken will leave Air America to run for Office. At least then I can laugh at his ridiculus politics and points of view. I damn sure don't find anything funny about his jokes. Broke Back Mountain ( The Queer Cowboy Chronicles - You had me at Howdy) will do horrible in the rest of the country. It will also win many awards which further Illustrates how out of touch Hollywood is with America.

Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the houseNot a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash,Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snowGave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,With a little old driver, so lively and quick,I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.  More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!On, Comet! on Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!" As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too. And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound. He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack. His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly. He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,And laying his finger aside of his nose,And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

What are you afraid of

This case in Dover, Pa deserves some discussion. I believe that the Court got it partially right. Let me start by saying that I am a Christian and I do believe in the evolution.

What they did do right is that they allow Intelligent Design as an elective and not taught as a Science.

What they did wrong is allow evolution to continue to be taught as a scientific fact.

If you think about it why wouldn't God create creatures that could adapt to their environment and let the strongest and most able further the species. Also, I don't believe that evolution should be taught as fact, because it isn't thats why they call it a "THEORY". HELLLOOOOO!!!!

the·o·ry (th-r, thr)n.

A systematically organized body of knowledge applicable in a relatively wide variety of circumstances, especially a system of assumptions, accepted principles, and rules of procedure devised to analyze, predict, or otherwise explain the nature or behavior of a specified set of phenomena.

Abstract reasoning; speculation.

Here's a couple of questions about evolution:

If we evolved from apes, why aren't gorillas and chimps becoming more humanoid. Science tells us that Chimps, Gorillas and Humans have been the same for hundreds of thousands of years.

I don't think that ID or Creationism should be taught as a science because it is not, it is a belief system.

This case in Dover wasn't asking that Creationism of ID be taught, they simply wanted students to hear a statement about ID before ninth-grade lessons on evolution. The statement said Darwin's theory is "not a fact" and has inexplicable "gaps." It referred students to an intelligent-design textbook, "Of Pandas and People."

That isn't unreasonable is it, allow the students to know that evolution isn't a fact and maybe see a different side of the story. There is a case is in Kansas where people want the gaps in the theory of evolution taught and another in Georgia that wants stickers put on books stating that evolution is a theory and not a fact. Why is the left so opposed to any critism of evolution and giving yet another viewpoint. If creationism or ID is as rediculus as the left says lets let the students determine that. Any belief that cannot withstand critism is a belief not worth having.

Another funny liberal Hypocrasy:

If liberals are so fond of the theory of evolution, why do they get pissed off when humans clear cut land and destroy the habitat of owls, isn't that just a case of "Surivival of the Fittest".

Prediction:

The secular war on Christianity will continue, see revelations.

Here we go again

Now the President is spying on all Americans, what will the Evil Republicans do next.
Here's a couple quick facts for the kool-aid drinking liberals out there.

None of the wire taps were on American Citizens.

The President has had this power to conduct warrantless surviellance since 1968. It was granted to him in Title III of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets act. As long as the surviellance deals with National Security and not domestic crimes. This was instituted during the LBJ ( D ) presidency. This has been used by most Presidents since. As a matter of fact Clinton ( D ) used this in quite creative ways to win contracts for his buddies for foreigns businesses. He even created an execute order 12949 that reinforces the Omnibus act of 1968 for the warrantless surviellance. Of course when he signed this the press didn't seem to have any problem with it, Nor did Sen. Byrd or any of the other loud mouths on the Hill.

If Pres. Bush is using this the spy on regular citizens I would have a problem with this, it would still be perfectly legal but I would have a problem with it. These wire taps are on phones that have recieved calls from known or highly suspicious origins and in these troubled times you can't be to carefull.

Prediction:
This will all blow over, it is the scandal du jour for the flailing Democratic party. Of course despite any evidence presented all the kool-aid drinking liberal will consider Bush guilty.

Wake UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent the Office Liberal (OL) links to the quotes that I had sent him earlier because he said that the quotes were taken out of context. Here is his response to the links that go directly to where the quote was taken from. This was done to clear up any possible "taking quotes out of context" problems.

Here is his response:

OL:

lol - Whipping Boy, I know you're just being cool by responding with the links, but don't take my teasing too seriously. Please understand I'm trained in the art of argument. Comes from hanging out in a classroom for far too long. Sometimes I argue just because I know how to (which really torques off my wife to no end).

I'm also kind of a jackass on occasion (just in case you missed that, haha). I'm pretty good at figuring out a person's hot button issues. Unfortunately, I lack the will power to resist pushing those buttons. In this case, I've behaved entirely as a member of the loyal opposition, firing off incendiary liberal view points specifically to raise your ire. However, you've handled the teasing very well. :-)

I do really think Bush is antithetical to my existence, so much so that my negative opinion of him and the Republican party will probably never change until the day die, or at least until I become rich enough to show up on the Tom Delay PAC donor list. Now, I totally respect your right to support Bush, which you do with a patient determination. Congrats on that. But short of showing me the Holy Grail with Dubya's name engraved on it, I'm afraid I'm rigidly anti-Republican. I'm comfortable with that position, in fact.

Cheers,
Office Liberal

(Oh, do you really read those speeches all the way through? While I don't have a problem with Hilary Clinton, I have no desire to read one of her speeches. Just the same canned Democratic blah blah blah I've been hearing since the Reagan days. At least the Republican party can reinvent itself when politically necessary and/or convenient. For a party that advocates change, the Dems are more of a prisoner to their past than the Repubs are. Love the irony.)

Well there you have, when confronted with the facts, the Office Liberal reveals that he was only toying with me, how conveinant. He apparently also has a black belt in being argumentative.

What an arrogant SOB, these are the kinds of people that you are dealing with. He admits that he will never like republicans and doesn't care what the truth is, I like to call this guy a Kool-aid drinker. They don't care what the facts are they just go off the talking points. My sister is a leftist Kool-aid drinker and my Mother was a conservative kool-aid drinker, it is a bi partisan affliction. He also makes a comment about never reading the entire speech. You would think that with all that time he spends in the classroom that he would be a big enough reader to read a simple little press release or a short speech. Maybe he is trying to get his GED.

As an Informed citizen you must pay attention, you must read and watch not just Fox News but all sides and try to discern the truth. I am afraid that we are in a time when everything is political. An insane person was shot by a law enforcement official when he reached inside his coat after running up and down the aisles of an airplane yelling "I have a bomb". Anyone with common sense knows that this was a dangerous situation and the officer shot the man for the safety of all the other passengers. I know he was bi-polar, but bi-polar doesn't make you stupid and who's to say a bi-polar person wouldn't blow up an airplane. If you ask me they are more likely to do something like that, that's why they medicate them. HELLOOOOO!! Soon after every democrat was calling for an investigation. I know, you liberals will say what about McCain and Hagel, this guys are liberals in conservative clothing.

Heres another expample, Charles Rangel (D NY) introduced, with 14 of his fellow Democrats, a bill HR 163 around the election to start a draft for the Iraq war. When it comes time to vote on it he votes against his own bill and the only two representatives out of 435 that vote for it were democrats. All the democrats go on shows that won't ask them tough questions and say this is a republican conspiracy. A poll is taken and 80% people 18 - 25 believe that the republicans are starting a draft. I would imagine that the other 20% in that demographic probably didn't have MTV on and knew nothing of the bill.

You have to pay attention. Don't believe anything that I say here go check it out.

here are some links that I find helpfull:
www.factcheck.org
www.vote-smart.org

Email shoot out 2 with the Office Liberal

I am concerned about our office liberal(OL). I think that when he is confronted with the facts he has quit arguing. This is going to be no fun at all, when have facts ever stopped a liberal. You will see what I mean when I post the email exchange and then refer to the first E-mail shoot out blog.

I like to use the analogy of a cat playing with a mouse. In the end the mouse will be eaten and then all the mice that weren't eaten say "I wish he would have tryed that with me". When I get a Kool-aid drinking liberal, I like to toy with them. Every false statement that they make I will challenge and ask if they can provide any proof for these wild allegations (They never can). I have to give them a little bit of credit they do use third grade logic to get their points across. For example:

BUSH + TEXAS + OIL = BUSH BAD

SUV + OIL + RUN OVER LITTLE ANIMALS = BUSH BAD

HURRICANE KATRINA + OIL IN GULF NEAR NEW ORLEANS = BUSH BAD

When PETA demostrates they alway put girls in the nude, what does being naked have to do with animal rights?? If you apply the 3rd grade logic it all makes perfect sense:

WHITE MALE + MEAT + FIRE = GOOD
WHITE MALE + YOUNG NAKED FEMALE = GOOD

At this point we subsitute the MEAT + FIRE for the YOUNG NAKED FEMALE and score a huge victory for animal rights.

What they failed to do was include this part of the equation:

WHITE MALE + MEAT + FIRE / TWO BOOBIE = NOT A HALF BAD BURGER.

That's it most liberal think that you are a moron. Why a women standing outside in the cold holding a sign calling me a Cannibal is going to convince me not to eat meat baffles me. Oh well here is the email shoot out, he hasn't responded since this morning. If he does respond back I will post it.

Whipping Boy:

If Bush lied than How do you explain all these quotes:

"(W)e need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime. We all know the litany of his offenses. He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. ...And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction. That is why the world, through the United Nations Security Council, has spoken with one voice, demanding that Iraq disclose its weapons programs and disarm. So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but it is not new. It has been with us since the end of the Persian Gulf War."
John Kerry, January 23, 2003.

"Iraq made commitments after the Gulf War to completely dismantle all weapons of mass destruction, and unfortunately, Iraq has not lived up to its agreement."
Barbara Boxer, November 8, 2002.

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retained some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capability. Intelligence reports also indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons, but has not yet achieved nuclear capability."
Robert Byrd, October 2002.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security."
Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002.

"Saddam Hussein’s regime represents a grave threat to America and our allies, including our vital ally, Israel. For more than two decades, Saddam Hussein has sought weapons of mass destruction through every available means. We know that he has chemical and biological weapons. He has already used them against his neighbors and his own people, and is trying to build more. We know that he is doing everything he can to build nuclear weapons, and we know that each day he gets closer to achieving that goal."
John Edwards, October 10, 2002.

"The debate over Iraq is not about politics. It is about national security. It should be clear that our national security requires Congress to send a clear message to Iraq and the world: America is united in its determination to eliminate forever the threat of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction."
John Edwards, October 10, 2002.

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years. And that may happen sooner if he can obtain access to enriched uranium from foreign sources -- something that is not that difficult in the current world. We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
John Rockefeller, October 10, 2002.

"The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons. He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing the world, during the interval, to lose the focus we had on weapons of mass destruction and the issue of proliferation."
John Kerry, October 9, 2002.

"I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
John F. Kerry, October 2002.

"There’s no question that Saddam Hussein is a threat... Yes, he has chemical and biological weapons. He’s had those for a long time. But the United States right now is on a very much different defensive posture than we were before September 11th of 2001... He is, as far as we know, actively pursuing nuclear capabilities, though he doesn’t have nuclear warheads yet. If he were to acquire nuclear weapons, I think our friends in the region would face greatly increased risks as would we."
Wesley Clark on September 26, 2002 .

"I share the administration’s goals in dealing with Iraq and its weapons of mass destruction."
Dick Gephardt in September 2002.
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
Ted Kennedy, September 27, 2002.

"There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein’s regime is a serious danger, that he is a tyrant, and that his pursuit of lethal weapons of mass destruction cannot be tolerated. He must be disarmed."
Ted Kennedy, Sept 27, 2002.

"Iraq does pose a serious threat to the stability of the Persian Gulf and we should organize an international coalition to eliminate his access to weapons of mass destruction. Iraq’s search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to completely deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
Al Gore, 2002.

"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
Nancy Pelosi, December 16, 1998

"Even today, Iraq is not nearly disarmed. Based on highly credible intelligence, UNSCOM [the U.N. weapons inspectors] suspects that Iraq still has biological agents like anthrax, botulinum toxin, and clostridium perfringens in sufficient quantity to fill several dozen bombs and ballistic missile warheads, as well as the means to continue manufacturing these deadly agents. Iraq probably retains several tons of the highly toxic VX substance, as well as sarin nerve gas and mustard gas. This agent is stored in artillery shells, bombs, and ballistic missile warheads. And Iraq retains significant dual-use industrial infrastructure that can be used to rapidly reconstitute large-scale chemical weapons production."
Former UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter, in 1998.

"Saddam’s goal ... is to achieve the lifting of U.N. sanctions while retaining and enhancing Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction programs. We cannot, we must not and we will not let him succeed."
Madeline Albright, 1998.

"(Saddam) will rebuild his arsenal of weapons of mass destruction and some day, some way, I am certain he will use that arsenal again, as he has 10 times since 1983"
National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, Feb 18, 1998.
"The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow."
President Bill Clinton in 1998.

"Iraq is not the only nation in the world to possess weapons of mass destruction, but it is the only nation with a leader who has used them against his own people."
Tom Daschle in 1998.

OL:
Hey, thanks for the morning humor!

Btw, as impressive as cut n paste job this is, taking stuff out of context doesn't let Bush off the hook any more than ignoring Big Dick's war mongering soundbites. I mean really, Cheney's rants make the commentators below sound like the unAmerican pinko commie dogs the Veep says they are.

And how could you ignore Pat Robertson's quips, like the one blaming 9/11 on America's "immorality"? Oh dear . . .

Oh, didn't you hear about the big news yesterday? Dubya took the "blame" for this mess apparently. About 2,000 servicemen too late, but it's nice to see a Republican president actually admit responsibility (more or less) for making up the facts in order to achieve a political means.
Cheers,
Office Liberal

Whipping Boy:

If you have some quotes that belong to VP Chenney send them to me, I would be happy to see them. I like to be fair and balanced. Also, if these comments are taken out of context give me a link to the actual quote and I will look into it. Most of the quotes I have included below are complete statements and not bits a pieces of statements so I feel pretty confident about the context.
As for Pat Robertson's quip I don't I agree with and truthfully think that a man of God saying someone should be executed is disgraceful, I think that he should be more concerned with the log in his eye.
As far as the President accepting responsibility for the war, has he ever not accepted responsibility for the war? That's his job.You seemed to have taken that a bit out of context. He never said that this war wasn't justified, In fact he cited numerous Intelligence reports from nations that were against going to war and he cited violations of the No Fly Zone, which by the way make this war very legal. Those intelligence reports were incorrect, but when you have your CIA director (appointed by Clinton) telling you it's a "Slam Dunk",French Intelligence, the U.N., and British Intelligence also telling you the same thing you have to act on that Intelligence. You say it's a mess but most of the Military in polls tells a different story, as a matter of fact it is mainly just the Democrats saying this nonsense. We were in Japan for seven years before that government was stable and we are still in Bosnia. Where's your criticism of that mess, Slobodan Milosevic wasn't a threat to us. Here's a quote for you "My decision to remove Saddam Hussein was the right decision,". Here another quote for you "While you are allowed your opinion you are not allowed you own set of facts."

OL:

Whipping Boy: Hello, Hello are you there

OL: imagine the a faint voice repeating over and over "Bush is an idiot" between sobs and wimpering.

Tookie and Madonna

You must be asking yourself "What could they possibly have in common" well they both write childrens books silly. They are the mentors for the next generation.

I as a rule don't believe that the death penalty is right, but I won't lose any sleep over this one. This is a man who murdered people in cold blood and made jokes about their deaths. He was sentenced to be executed by a jury of his peers with overwhelming evidence. He continued to be violent in prison and had planned to escape by killing many innocent more people.

I hope that Tookie did find your faith in god and that you are fully prepared to account for your life, but the he commited horrible crimes and will be punished for them.
There's a face only a mother could love.

Madonna won't let her children watch TV because it is a bad influence, but she puts out her videos for our children to watch, thanks. type='text'>Guilt is a bipartisan attribute

I see this on both sides of the coin. When charges are brought against a republican or a democrat partisans try to justify those actions. I crime is a crime no matter what political party you belong to.

Case in point: Tom Delay was indicted on 3 charges

conspiracy to violate the Texas election code

conspiracy to commit money laundering

money laundering

The first charge was thrown out due to the fact that at the time the law didn't exist. The other two charges will go to trial. Now I don't claim to be an expert on this subject but a lot of what Tom Delay did doesn't pass the smell test.

The reasons stated for dropping the charges put forth by the defense is that the money laundering laws only apply to cash and coin, this was a check. Also, money laundering can only be done with illegally gained money.

I think that his first point is absurd, but the second may have some merit.

My second point is Scooter v Slick Willie. Both have the same charges brought against them, but now the republicans are saying he merely misspoke to reporters and the democrats want him hung. Actually the democrats think that his indictment is actual proof that Dick Chenney should be hung, but anyhow. When Clinton had the same charges brought against him they seemed to think that having sex with a subordinate in his place of work was simply his private business, not to mention lying under oath and witness tampering. Funny story, the other day my boss walked in on me and my secretary having sex and I got fired. I immediately called the local ACLU and demanded that my civil right to fornicate with a subordinate in the work place was violated. They returned my call and told me that would only work in the Clinton Administration, Damn Republicans!!!! Liberals just don't get, I keep telling them sex won't get you disbarred.

Either way my point is that just because he is a republican doesn't mean that I am on his side because I am a republican. As far as Scooter Libby and Tom Delay are concerned I will wait to see what a jury of their peers decide and not condemn them because I don't like what they think or allow criminal behavior because they think like me. I think our founding Fathers said it best by "Innocent until proven guilty". Sorry all you liberals but Clinton was found Guilty and was Impeached, his punishment wasn't censure or removal from office, but he was impeached.

Prediction:

Scooter Libby will be aquitted of all charges.

Tom Delay will be guilty on the Conspiracy charge but not the money laundering change.

Random thoughts

I have been real busy today so I haven't had time to do the reading that I would usually do.

These are just some things that have been bugging me:

Global warming - I don't deny that it exists, as a matter of fact I now that it does, I just don't think that we (humans) are the cause of it. There was an inland sea in the center of what is now the United States and there where only dinosaurs here then. Also, Why is this all Bush's fault, he did pull out of the Kyoto agreement but numerous other countries did also and that would have crippled our economy to remain in it.

Buying good press in Baghdad - I really don't have a problem with this at all if all the information is factual. I think that it is a shame that we have to pay to get it in there. I don't even have a problem with the Administration paying that reporter to plug the No Child Left behind Policy, He clearly should have mentioned that he was recieving a fee to promote this policy, but it is in no way the Bush's admistrations duty to make that clear. For all you liberals out there it is called Advertising and it isn't illegal.

Sandy Berger - Are you kidding me. Liberals stick up for this idiot and it just makes you look bad.

Predictions:
Sen Kerry will make more misleading, flip flopping statements, ie voted for it then against it, put more troops on the ground / we have to get the troops out. Hilary will continue to look like a centrist in preparation for her run for the Presidency in 2008, Ted Kennedy will get drunk and leave someone to die in a submerged car, Oh wait that is the past. As you can tell I really went out on a limb for these predictions. What can I say I was busy to day.

Email Shoot out with the Office Liberal

Whipping Boy(WB):
If Scooter, had called out Valerie Plames name while having sex with an intern and enjoying a cigar it would have been his own private business and this investigation would be all about sex.

WB:
Couldn't find his response to this email, it was something snid and condescending about the seriousness of leaking a CIA agents name.

WB:
Scooter wasn't charged with leaking a CIA agents name to the press. He was indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice which were the exact same charges that were brought against Clinton. The prosecutor didn't have a case for the naming of the CIA agent.

Office Liberal(OL):
haha - I see you've taken the Republican course on Semantics 101 (followed by Spin 201). Not "having a case" may be the reality, but how else do you explain why he lied to the prosecutor if not to hide his own complicity or the knowledge of who did? That is, if he had nothing to hide, why the perjury? Fact is someone from the White House told reporters and used them to punish Plame's husband. Just because they can't pin it on Scooter suggests to me it was probably Rove who did it with Chaney's approval, but Scooter is taking the hit like a good soldier.
And I always did agree with Clinton about his Lewinsky affair - his infidelity would never have been an issue in any other court for anyone else except when it involves a right wing prosecutor trying to embarrass a Dem president. Clinton lied about something that wasn't criminal and should've never been asked.

Note: Clinton was stupid for allowing his libido to supersede his good judgment, but I could serve multiple life sentences for stupidity myself. (Although not for affairs, unlike Clinton. My wife kicks ass. Nothing like a good woman to keep you walking the straight and narrow, hehe.). That someone tipped the public about this guy's wife being a CIA agent is a whole different realm, not the least of which is the danger she faces from her blown cover.

WB:
I am a firm believer in the "Innocent until proven guilty" premise. Present your evidence and let a court of your peers determine your innocence or guilt not your political affiliation. The prosecution has been working on this for 2 years and this is the best they can do, at least with Clinton we had solid irrefutable evidence.

OL:
right right right - and you'd let Michael Jackson spend a night with your kids all alone? Or O.J. date your 20 year old daughter (assuming you had one)?
Be careful of absolutes. They can put you in tight places in a world that's more gray than not.
And Clinton's "irrefutable evidence" (dang, that's funny, given the nature of the 'evidence') was that he had an affair. Whoopee.
Thanks for the banter.
Cheers!

WB:
I wouldn't trust Clinton with my box of Cuban cigars. The process isn't perfect but you can't go around making charges that can't be proven. The evidence against Clinton proved that he lied under oath and that he tried to create evidence that would exonerate him. All he had to do was tell the truth and he never would have committed a crime. If it was just about sex why was he disbarred? And talk about semantics "Oral sex isn't sex" come on.

OL:
hehe - Again, there was no need for the prosecutor to ask him about sex with Lewinsky, but he (wasn't it Ashcroft?) did so because it would embarrass the Democratic Prez. That Clinton didn't see a way out of his own mess was his problem. I'll give you that. Clinton was responsible for creating his own misery.

But as far Scooter goes, someone did tip off the reporters in an act an attempt to intimidate Iraq war critics, and a CIA spy's career was recklessly destroyed in the process - unlike Clinton. Which case is more serious? Really now . . .

The White House had the political motivation and the assumed moral impunity to pull such a stunt. They lied about Iraq's WMDs, they lied about Saddam's connection to Al Queda, they lied about their preparedness for rebuilding Iraq (but given FEMA and Katrina, that's no longer such a surprise) . . . is it me, or is there a pattern here? ;-)

Go ahead and stand behind the technicality of the law. No problem here. It's meant to protect people from hearsay. However, I do find it interesting that the administration is saying, "See, this is nothing," instead of being alarmed that one of their government's agents was exposed in a cheap political shot. You'd think the Republican party would've formed a lynching party by now, given how the wear the flag like a coat (or is that cloak?)

WB:
I love it when liberals say he lied about WMDs because then I get to ask this question "Did Clinton lie about the WMD's" , "Did Kerry Lie about the WMD's", "Did Cofi Annan lie about the WMD's". So when Clinton said "We attacked the Nuclear and Biological targets in Iraq" was he lying also. A liberals biggest problem when he says that is his own statements. I agree that naming a CIA agent is a serious offense but what I do disagree with is trying to railroad the highest official in the bush administration that you can find with conflicting statements. We ought to have a case with some evidence and then If a court decides that there isn't any validity or enough evidence to prove a charge you have to respect that. You also make alot of statements that aren't proven i.e. " someone did tip off the reporters in an act an attempt to intimidate Iraq war critics" I agree that her name was named but what evidence do you have that it was to intimidate war critics. If you could point me to something that supports this assertion I would be really interested in seeing it.

Also what technicality are you talking about the judge and I believe that the prosecutor didn't bring those charges against him because of lack of evidence. What evidence is it that you have to implicates him that the Judge and prosecutor didn't have.

OL:

WB:
Silence ..... imagine crickets in to background. The OL hasn't spoken to me In days.

If you would like to see a bunch of politicians lying about WMD's click Here

De Christmasing Christmas

This is an article that I read and wanted to post it as it relates to yesterdays topic and I thought it well written.

De-Christmassing Christmas

12/2/05

When a commotion erupted over the fact that the 48-foot white spruce installed on the Boston Common — an annual gift from the people of Nova Scotia — is identified on Boston's official website as a "holiday tree," the city's commissioner of parks and recreation sided firmly with the critics.

"This is a Christmas tree," Antonia Pollak declared. "It's definitely a Christmas tree."
At least that's what she told the Boston press. According to CBC News, on the other hand, she took a rather different line with the Canadian press: "A lot of people celebrate various religious holidays but also enjoy the lights, and we're trying to be inclusive."
Meanwhile, Pollak's boss said he intends to call it a Christmas tree, no matter what it says on the City Hall website. "I didn't write the website," Boston Mayor Thomas Menino told the Boston Herald. "If I had, it would have said 'Christmas tree'." He must not write the mayor's weekly column, either. The current one is about the lighting of Christmas trees all over Boston — yet not once does the word "Christmas" modify the word "tree."
And so it begins again: the annual effort to neuter Christmas, to insist in the name of "inclusiveness" and "sensitivity" that a Christian holiday celebrated by something like 90 percent of Americans not be called by its proper name or referred to in religious terms. We all know the drill by now. Instead of "Merry Christmas," store clerks wish you a "happy holiday." Schools close for "winter break." Your office throws a "holiday party."
Sometimes the secularizing impulse goes to laughable extremes, as when the elementary school play is titled How the Grinch Stole the Holidays or when red poinsettias (but not white ones) are banned from city hall. Sometimes it springs from clanging ignorance, as with the New York City policy that prohibited the display of Christian nativity scenes on public school grounds, while expressly allowing such "secular holiday symbol decorations" as Jewish menorahs and the Muslim star and crescent. And some of it is fueled by anti-Christian bigotry or sheer misanthropic bile.
But mostly, I think, this attempt to fade Christmas into a nondenominational winter holiday stems from a twisted notion of courtesy, from the idea that tolerance and respect for minorities require intolerance and disrespect for the majority. Better to call the company shindig a "holiday" party, this line of thinking goes, than to risk offending the few non-Christian employees by calling it a Christmas party. Better to ban all Christmas carols from the school concert than to take the chance that a Jew or Muslim or Hindu might feel excluded. Better to remove the Christmas trees from all the dormitory dining halls because a single student complained — as happened last year at the University of Illinois — than to politely inform the student that the trees will be removed after the Christmas season ends.
"We're trying to be inclusive," says the Boston parks commissioner, explaining why the white spruce that was sent from Nova Scotia under a giant banner reading "Merry Christmas, Boston" became a "holiday tree" on her department's website. But suppressing the language, symbols, or customs of Christians in a predominantly Christian society is not inclusive. It's insulting.
It's discriminatory, too. Hanukkah menorahs are never referred to as "holiday lamps" — not even the giant menorahs erected in Boston Common and many other public venues each year by Chabad, the Hasidic Jewish outreach movement. No one worries that calling the Muslim holy month of Ramadan by its name — or even celebrating it officially, as the White House does with an annual "iftaar" dinner — might be insensitive to non-Muslims. In this tolerant and open-hearted nation, religious minorities are not expected to keep their beliefs out of sight or to squelch their traditions lest someone, somewhere, take offense. Surely the religious majority shouldn't be expected to either.
As a practicing Jew, I don't celebrate Christmas. There is no Christmas tree in my home, my kids don't write letters to Santa Claus, and I don't attend church on December 25 (or any other date). Does the knowledge that scores of millions of my fellow Americans do all those things make me feel excluded or offended? On the contrary: It makes me feel grateful to live in a land where freedom of religion shelters the Hanukkah menorah in my window no less than the Christmas tree in my neighbor's. That freedom is a reflection of America's Judeo-Christian culture, and a principal reason why, in this overwhelmingly Christian country, it isn't only Christians for whom Christmas is a season of joy. And why it isn't only Christians who should make a point of saying so.
(Jeff Jacoby is a syndicated columnist with the Boston Globe. Now don't get me wrong I am a christian and I completely believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but why would an Athesist care?
He doesn't think that he is the son of God and surely you would have to admit that Jesus as a philosipher had quite an impact and is worthy of a celebration.

Well the Liberal will tell you that it shouldn't be a part of any federal or local government display even though it is a federal holiday. They also complain to stores and tell them that there "Christ"mas displays are offensive and they won't shop there if "Christ"mas is in the display. Well, 85% of America claims to be Christian and I think that we should throw our buying power around. Target is one of many that refuses to have "Christ"mas as a part of their displays. I think that if they won't use the word "Christ"mas nobody should do any "Christ"mas shopping there, use them to set an example. Also call your local Target and tell them that you won't be shopping there. They also do things like sue school boards to get "Christ"mas break changed to winter break and other assenine things. This is a true story, a couple of years ago the ACLU was suing a school board to have the Christmas break changed to Winter Break, so I called them to express my displeasure. While talking to them I asked if they would be open on December 25 and the lady said no that they were closed for "Christ"mas. HEEEELLOOOOO!!!!

Here is the supposed "Separation of Church and State" that is in the Constitution:

Amendment I - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. ratified 12/15/1791. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This is the so called separation of church and state, look closely if you don't you might miss it.Thats it "congress shall make no law", hmmmmmmmmm. I would like to point out that when this Amendment was written Congress started each session with a prayer and was spending large amounts of American tax dollars to establish Christian missions in Indian territory.

I will let you determine the framers intent, I have found that most liberal don't really care about the truth anyways.

Christmas for Christians is a celebration of the birth of the son of God and our savior. When you take his name out of it (i.e. Xmas, winter break, holiday season ) you take credit away from him. I am not asking Athesists to believe that he is the son of God nor would I ever support a law that forced you to believe that, I am simply asking you to respect my beliefs. Surely not one liberal would support changing Martin Luther King day to Civil rights day.

Little known fact: The Republican Party was originally the Free Soil party, the party that passed the Civil Rights bill (Al Gores father fought against it), and has placed African Americans in some the the highest positions within this Administration.

Prediction:
Liberals keep Martin Luther King day and make Civil rights day a holiday to get yet another day off. They could celebrate it by hosing down thier Conservative friends. ( This may be a long shot )

John Roberts Test Drive

Well, here we go this is a really important case to determine the future character of John Roberts service on the bench. The New Hampshire case that would allow a minor to receive an abortion without parental permission. This to me is a common sense no brainer, you can't have an ingrown toe nail removed without the permission of your parents why would you have a supposed constitution right to an abortion. It is ridiculus issues like this that if they were put to a vote be defeated in a landslide.

In other news President Bush came out with a Iraq war strategy. I didn't see any of this as a new strategy, it was more of a status report. Who would've figured that we would eventually give them their country back. One thing that I do like is that the Bush Administration is actually defending their positions and calling democrat loud mouths to the carpet on the rediculus claims. I will admit that we can't find the WMD's but we all know that they were there because Clinton bombed those facilities. Kofi Annan said they were there, George Tenet (Clinton's Boy) in Richard Clarks (Bush Critic) book told the president the case for WMD's is a "slam dunk". When Scott Ritter was removed from Iraq he said they that they were there. Then he was given half a million dollars from a Person with close contacts to the Bathes Party to make a film. The film has yet to be created and Scott Ritter all of the sudden says no WMD's are there. HMMMMMMMM!!

I have some questions that I would like some liberals to answer and maybe by giving these answers America can grow to know you better. Certainly you don't know what the Average American is like as wittnessed by the fact that Republicans have the House, Senate, Presidency and after January we will have the Supreme Court.

1. If it is George Bushes fault that the world hates American why was 9/11 concieved and planned during the Clinton Administration. Also why were there so many terrorist attacks against us during the Clinton Administration. ie World Trade Center, Kobar Towers, U.S.S Cole.

2. Why is it that you said Clinton's Military Service didn't matter but then whined and complained about Bushs'.

3. If you truely think that Trent Lott is a racist and insisted that he resign and apologize for his comments why don't you do the same to Paul Byrd, he used to be in the KKK.

4. Why does it bug you the way Bush pronounces nuclear but when Kerry pronounces Ghengis as Jingus you don't mind or when Ted Kennedy pronounce Bar as Baw.

Predictions:

The Liberals will use this case as an example of how President Bush is trying to overturn Roe v Wade. This is the is simply not true this case was Selected by Rehnquist. In case you didn't know, the only power that the Chief Justice has is that he selects the cases to be heard by the Supreme Court but he is still just one vote.

I am back

I haven't posted to this site in a long time. I have linked this blog to my new home page and will start blogging again. I have some really liberal relatives and like to make my opinions known to see if they can deviate from the DNC talking points, they normally don't stray to far. When they do and are faced with a few facts they get confused and have to resort to the "Bush is dumb" tactic.

Michael Moore should move on!!

Me, being the well read independent that I am, get numerous news letters NOW, DNC, RNC, and Michael Moores. Since it is a slow news day, at least nothing has peaked my interest, all that is out there is " We should have gave more quicker" or the opposite from the other side. Then I look in my in box and a letter from my good old friend Michael Moore pops up. Sometimes I cringe at having to read through the regular dribble about how Gore and/or Kerry actually won or should've won and how racist the republicans are, but I thought that since Rush is babbling about lost turkeys or something I would comment on the letter. If you are thinking about getting this news letter by all means go ahead but I can sum them all up for you In this next few paragraphs.

Here's the gist, A college dropout ( Michael Moore ) is way smarter than dumb old George Bush ( Degrees from Harvard and Yale ). I can hear all the liberals right now saying that his daddy got him into those schools and I believe that. I think that most people there had their daddies get them in there, but his Daddy didn't get him out. Here's my reasoning here. At the time his Daddy was a mere Senator and the Kennedy's have always been treated like American royalty. One of the Kennedy's didn't graduate from Harvard despite his family ties . So I truly believe that he had his daddies help getting in but he got out himself.

The next ever present theme in his news letter is the "Selected not Elected" theme. This is where the innate ability of the liberal to employ their considerable powers of "Reasonable Suspension of disbelief", normally only used during bad science fiction movies, kicks in. I think that the supreme court simply stopped Gore from recounting 3 heavily Democratic counties over and over and over. Enough said!!

The next is the one that is the inspiration of this rant, Racism. That's right, it's the R word. Five bucks says that everytime that word is used on television Jesse Jackson's mouth waters and dollar signs appear in his eyes. This is a paragraph from the news letter:

A very embarrassing moment during the last session of Congress occurred in the first week when none of you would allow the members of Congress who were black to have the floor to object to the Florida vote count. Remember that? You thought no one would ever notice, didn't you? You certainly lucked out that night when the networks decided not to show how you shut down every single member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Did they let a bunch of white senators complain about the vote in Florida and not allow the Black Senators? I doubt it, but better to paint all republican as racists, what the hell, we won't fight back because we fear the R word. Nobody wants to hear you whine irregardless of what race you are is why nobody was allowed to take the floor. By the way how many white senators are in the Black Caucus? Only a wacky liberal would complain of racism perpetrated on a group that uses race as a qualifying factor to belong to their group, hmmmmmmmm.

So that's it, Michael Moores news letter in a nut shell. Sure the sentences, wording , and possibly even the topics will be different, but the theme is the same.

Later for now,
The Whipping Boy

Kicking a Gift horse in the rear

If you have your hat out don't complain that I don't put enough in it. Why didn't they take some of the millions that moveon.org used to defame the Bush Administration to help some of those poor people. Why didn't Nancy Pelosi criticize France, Germany, Sweden, or any of the oil rich Muslim Countries? It takes a special kind of person to be a liberal now-a-days, It only takes two or three questions to debunk anything they say.

George Bush lied about WMD's; Did Clinton and the U.N. also lie : checkmate

George Bush was a deserter; Wasn't Clinton a draft dodger, Kerry said when Clinton was running that service in the Military shouldn't matter and then he ran on his military record for the presidency, John Kerry reporting for duty.

The Inspection Process will work; Hello, 17 resolutions, none of which were ever followed. To some I am a religious zealot to others I am a liberal ( I must admit that this later crowd is a small group) but few knowing my stances on most the positions would have a hard time labeling me as a conservative.
I am against in most cases against abortion and the death penalty.

I am for some types of stem cell research.

I am for closing our borders.

I am for the legalization of marijuana.
I am for making companies pay their taxes and closing some of the
loop holes that they use to get out of paying taxes.

I am against the entitlement state that we seem to be heading to.

I believe that Micheal Moore is a liar who benefits off of a group of weak minded
zealots and Rush Limbaugh does tow the Republican Party line.

There are many more issues that I could list but I believe the ones listed above
illustrate my point. In this blog I will just talk about the issue of the day.
